Turbine is an innovative musical project that brings together the raw energy of turntablism and the power of electronic music, with a strong emphasis on basshouse, breakbeat, and drum and bass. Steeped in hip hop DNA and schooled in scratch DVDs, the trio of DJs quickly made a name for themselves on the international scene, thanks to their intense live performances and their ability to push back the boundaries of traditional scratch.

In 2022, Turbine reached fourth place in the DMC World Championships, a renowned competition showcasing the world’s best DJs and turntablists. This success paved the way for collaborations with French label Banzai Lab, on which their latest singles were released.

Turbine doesn’t just reinvent scratching, it transforms it into a unique dancefloor experience. Since their inception, the three members of the group have been developing a hyperactive live show designed for the big stages of festivals. These stage performances, combining bass music, sound design, and energetic scratching techniques, have won over audiences who are just as keen on hip hop as they are on electronic music.
