For well more than two decades, Sean was a key figure in the East Coast electronic music scene, renowned for his smooth blend of organic and progressive house. Well known for his technical precision, always backed up by near-flawless execution, Sean built a reputation as one of the most consistent performers in the region.

Sean’s passion for electronic music ignited in the late 80s and early 90s with acts like Depeche Mode and New Order, but it was Sasha & John Digweed’s Northern Exposure in 1996 that truly inspired him to begin his journey with electronic music. After spending a few years perfecting his craft, he debuted at Halifax’s well-known Baseline Fridays @ Reflections and quickly established himself as a pioneer of progressive house in Atlantic Canada.

With residencies at many of the East Coast’s major production companies, including Massive Productions and Underdog Productions, Sean has shared the stage with a long list of global stars including Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Sultan, Steve Porter, and Armin Van Buuren. A standout moment in his career was opening for and performing an impromptu tag set with one of his heroes, Sasha, in 2003.

In 2011, Sean won John Digweed’s Structures Two mix contest, having competed against DJs from all over the world, leading to a feature on Digweed’s long-running Transitions radio show. Although his live performances have become increasingly rare in recent years, Sean continues to captivate his listeners with his Chilling Moments mix series, which has been running for over two decades.
